If there is a "shortage of females" maybe they are not interested in golf?No it’s not, there’s a shortage of females in the game and the Club are taking positive action.
There’s no need to even think about the other way round.

Why should some people subsidise others? Juniors yes, but working age people, a no from me.If there is a "shortage of females" maybe they are not interested in golf?
Or maybe they have been put off after not being welcome for decadesIf there is a "shortage of females" maybe they are not interested in golf?
Can you suggest another reason why some Clubs offer reduced membership fees for females? If there is a "shortage of females" maybe they are not interested in golf?
Who funds the golf “unions”?I'm all for getting more women to play golf, but I think it should be the golf "unions" that fund it, not male members.
Wow - give the 60’s their attitude backI'm all for getting more women to play golf, but I think it should be the golf "unions" that fund it, not male members.
Seniors absolutely shouldn’t be getting any discount.Wow - give the 60’s their attitude back
And people wonder why there is an imbalance
Shall they also get rid of reductions for seniors and juniors ?
Why does it matter to you if someone else gets cheaper fees - all that should matter is you believing you have value for the money you pay
And Btw the unions get their money from the club members
£2700 is not value for money when someone else pay half that.Wow - give the 60’s their attitude back

They do at my club as long as they are over 65 and members for >20 years.Seniors absolutely shouldn’t be getting any discount.

At my club women pay the same fees and the same joining fee. Gents waiting list is closed, their's is not. Doing our bit there. All good.
Welcome to my ignore list.It is value for money if are ok paying that
Does every single member at your club play the same fee - juniors , seniors etc
And other clubs have looked at doing things differently to try and improve the imbalance between the membership categories - doesn’t make it a disgrace
Welcome to my ignore list.
