Got a problem with 2 radiators which won't heat up I've tried bleeding them but no success one did go slightly warm at the bottom . Does this sound a major problem that will mean replacing or is it a simple valve .

Not a heating engineer however......
Are both valves open either side ( our wee fella turned the intake valve off, took me ages to see it), also is the thermostat on the radiator on properly? If its 'not catching' it won't open or close the water valve.
Also, is the pressure correct at the boiler? If not the water won't reach the farther radiators.

had them turned right down during summer but when i turned them back up 2 wont heat a bedroom and downstairs utility room tried to bleed them loads of water but no heat

have you tried shutting down a few other rads and see if it pushes through to the other two.

As big slice said, turn off all others in the house and leave just these two on and see if you get any heat into them, them turn the rest on but not all the way open, may just need a bit of balancing.

that didnt work looks like ill be getting someone in to service the lot and quote for the new shower HID wants in the ensuite

Yeah sounds like it could be a blockage, more likely if you have microbore pipework so may need a powerflush or could be that the thermostatic radiator valves are jammed (if you have them on radiator) which means they will need releasing.

If you've got TRVs (thermostatic radiator valves) and they've been turned off for a while the pin could be stuck/ seized in the closed position.
Unscrew the head/sensor off the top off the valve and you'll see the pin, if its poking out and it's possible to push it down its ok. If its barely visible and you can't push it in its seized and the valve is closed
If its seized just tap the pin down with some pliers or something similar,and it should just pop up solving the problem, don't try to pull the pin out with pliers just tap it down.
If the rads been off for a while I'd suspect this is the problem.
