r11s driver me likey

after never being a fan of the r11 when i tried it at the golf show i had a go at an r11s today and i really liked it. prob more so as i hit it well.

Is ther emuch of a difference between them???

Yes had the R11 then read when the R11S came out that anyone with a R11 wouldnt notice that much and there was not much point trading up.

I tried a R11S on the off chance (I loved my R11) and changed it straight away (Mrs BB not amused) - more foregiving, easier to hit and bigger head just makes it go a little further for me anyway - thats the driver not Mrs BB.

Had the first r11 and although the smaller head was fantastic, the shaft always felt dead and gave no feedback! The s model come out just as I won a driving fitting with Gm/Ag and I wanted to love it, but alas the white 460 head just looked too big.

I went with the cobra as the rip shaft seemed best suited, I'd really like to try an older r11 with this spec shaft .... But the cobra is about as consistent as fuel prise rises so don't want to upset the apple cart.

Had the R11 but was struggling with it off the tee. Decided the Flex M shaft I had in it was the problem so changed to an R11S Regular shaft...and added 20 to 30 yards to my drives.

Still have the R11 head at lowest loft (9.75deg) but am not tempted to change to the R11S head as I don't think it would have the effect that changing the shaft had.

i tried an r11 before i broke my wrist, quite like it, im a sucker for the white on the driver/woods now, unfortunitly i then broke my wrist 2 days later, so when i finally got back, my local didnt have any r11's so i tried the s, love it, sound, feel and the distance and how easy it is to hit, by the time i got the money together the mrs had already got me it for £250, £50 more than what the r11 was when i wanted it.
