None of my playing partners seem to know whether what I'm doing is legal or not.
I've setting up a little open in my putting, and pushing my ball to the right.
So for the last few weeks I've been standing behind the ball and putting my putter down toe pointing down the line.
I then maneuver my self keeping the putter behind the ball and set my feet square to the putter face, I then turn the putter the right way and do my putt.
This is resulted in me holing...lots...of putts I never used to.
Is this legal?

The only thing I can think of thats not legal is putting with your feet astride the line of putt. I've seen plenty of players putting there putter down square to the target from behind and then moving themselves round into their stance. Looks very awkward but each to their own
