Quick bounce question?

Just a quickie for those in the know. When opening up the face of a wedge, is the bounce increased or decreased?

I was just thinking about pitch shots off of wet soggy fairways? Would I be better off opening the face of my SW (11 degrees of bounce) rather than taking the lob wedge which only has 4 degrees.

I would suggest the blob..... I mean lob wedge, less chance of the Barclays (Thanks Smiffy)

Not really Steve.
If you open the face on a SW, you have to be able to get the leading edge under the ball which is much easier on lush, fluffly grass
