Anybody got any suggestions of which to get?/where to get them? Really don't want to be spending a fortune, just something that serves it's purpose properly and doesn't overly dent my wallet. Cheers lads. :D

Don't know what your budget is but the Proquip Tourflex suit gets rave reviews. Around £129.

The Tourflex is very nice. Failing that the lower end Aquastorm can be picked up for reasonable prices and is good if not quiet as comfortable. The other option is mix and match. Invest in a good jacket and get lower end trousers as the jacket will be used the most.

Apologies... Including my budget would have been a smarter move :o I was hoping to spend at most around £150. I'll look into these ones you've suggested. Any preference on where to get them?

If buying at the moment I would buy whatever I could get the best deal on in the sales depending on size. All of the golf shops got some pretty hefty reductions on last yrs models, a case of having a search around and finding a good deal in your size (may be better off buy the trousers and jacket separately too)

It's getting the size that fits that's difficult on clubhousegolf. I'll continue to browse and ask a few lads at the club when im in next week.

I have Proquip leggings, very comfortable. Two front pockets and one rear pocket, doesn't sweat like the cheaper makes. Washes wll and above all keeps my legs warm and dry.

Another plus is cost, I didn't pay much more than £40.

justed looked on the bay, proquip aquastorn trousers, 3 year waterproof warranty, less 2than £40 delivered.

Wouldn't recommend the ProQuip aquastorm trousers - whilst they were waterproof I didn't find them too breathable and they made me sweat. Also when there was a torrential downpour in the last comp of the year, they didn't keep me dry, so I ended up buying a pair of GAlvin Green Alf trousers at a discount price - they are absolutely fantastic (waterproof, breathable, comfortable and hard wearing) having worn them most of the Winter so far even when it is not raining, in the damp and muddy conditions

Bought a new pair of Dunlop waterproof trousers [for gardening] from Sports Division
@£11.99 they seem to be pretty good quality.

im in the same boat. my da bought me a pair of waterproof trousers from aldi for about a 5er and they do the trick. i only slip them on when its lashing! when its raining that hard the last thing i am worried about is my legs sweating. its usualy baltic !!

I have a pair of the Dunlop trousers, first time i used them my legs were sweating like mad, will never wear them again total cack

Now have Proquip Elite trousers excellent and just got the Mizuno Impermalite waterproof long sleeve top

I'm after the proquip tourflex, but no slim sizes!!
Need a medium waist and 33" leg and probably a M jacket, possibly large......

In a very similar situation as you bud, the sizes are the biggest struggle for me. I'll more than likely need a small waist and 32/33" leg aswell... Hard to find any in stock.

Another ProQuip Tourflex 360 fan here. Touch wood its been excellent. Great cut, good fit and waterproof.

Another ProQuip fan here.

Got a previous years style jacket for £50 and it is excellent. See if you can get last years models/styles anywhere as it's mostly just the designs that change with waterproofs, the technology stays the same. So last years will keep you just as dry as this years, but they are cheaper.
