QT next week

Did you see that business leader last night telling a student that a zero hours contract was better than no job.
What world do these people live in.

Shirley Williams proving yet again that she was brighter and more aware than any other panel members.
She was a real loss to Labour when it went through the Michael Foot years.

It is a shame as it would be great if someone with some intellectual clout could expose Farage and UKIP for the people and party they really are. But if Brand starts spouting his ridiculous manifesto he is in danger of coming across as the idiot and at the same time normalising Farage.

..what do you mean 'in danger of'.
I thought he was a fully signed up member.

Brand went up in my estimation with his support and donations to the justice campaign .

Seen recently he is also looking to sue the S&n and then donate again to JFT96 campaign

Believe him to be a lot smarter than he appears

Even a donkey would be smarter than he appears!

He has as little chance as Andrew Mitchell of successfully suing the Sun for libel. He knows that but shouting the odds is good for his image, whatever that may be.

So no one with money can campaign against poverty ?

People who own houses can't campaign against homelessness ?

Except his campaign seems to include attacks upon the wealthy which would certainly appear to include himself. so, therefore, yes he is guilty of gross hypocrisy.

As Metalmickie puts it, if you compare it to people owning houses campaigning against homelessness, it would actually be like someone who owns a house campaigning against homelessness, and blaming everyone who owns a house.

Not too keen to tell the reporter what he pays in rent to his tax exile landlords whilst defending the 'poor' people who cannot afford to live in London.

Glass houses........throwing stones

If you want true hypocrisy - especially about the 'evil tax exiles' and the plight of the common, especially poor, people - then Daily Mail is the paper to read! Around 80% owned - through inheritance - by Viscount (also inherited) Jonathon Harmsworth who is a tax exile!

Though I don't have any issue with someone like Brand campaigning, in the same way I didn't have an issue with Geldoff doing something about it!

I don't read the Mail but if it were to campaign for the poor (hard to imagine) I would agree that would be extreme hypocrisy.

Difference between Geldorf and Brand is that the former actually did something whilst Brand tends to "talk a good game".

People cannot afford to live in central London because of all the rich foreigners buying up the most expensive houses.
Obviously causing a ripple effect.
Market forces working at their best, pointless campaigning against that. How on earth could you stop it?

Cause they can, but anyone who is taken in by the waste of space really needs looking at. He's just a self seeking publicist who appears to be able to take the more venerable in.

A waste of space who donated a good deal of money to a worth while cause -
