Glad you are here Ethan, answer a Q for me please. I had DG Sl shafts in my mizzies, they produced a mid height flight with a slight draw, never a hook. I was recommended KBS tour shafts in reg to produce a bit more height, I now have a higher flight but the draw is now a hook even with the short irons. Not with my wedges which have wedge flex in them.
The fitter said have a lesson....not happy about that. Is the hook down to the softer shaft? he said he could hard step them once, that should eliminate the hook and leave the draw shouldn't it?

Was it KBS Tour or KBS 90 gram? What flex of TT DG SL?

KBS Tour R come in a shade firmer than TT DG R300, so are probably similar to TT DG SL R300, but would be a good bit softer than TT DG S300 (including SL).

KBS are also counter weighted, so they feel a bit lighter, and some people feel they swing them a bit faster.

KBS tour and DG SL r300. I may swing them faster as they go further than the DG's.
Hookboy aint happening Smiffy, they'll go in the bin first.

Dunno, mate. On the face of it the KBS should be a tighter shaft and give better control. It must be that you are doing something different with them compared to the TT DG.
