Can someone post a website that has easy to follow pictures and/or videos of the putting basics as I feel this is the worst part of my game. I've had lessons before but they were all to do with driving & irons, nothing to do with putting so I'm using a made up grip and stance.

The best thing though is to have a putting lesson. It is important to get the right grip, posture and putting action and it is a good idea to get a Pro involved early on.

Failing that, there are some good videos on Videojug (tyoe into google). I am at work so can't access the links, but go to Videojug and look under golf for Rickard Strongert. he a teaching pro in Spain who did a good series of vids on the basics - pretty sure he did one on putting.

I have to agree.
A pro will will check how you stand to the ball, where the ball should be, how to hold the putter, how to swing the putter, length of swing, width of stance etc etc. Ask him to do a mini custom fit on the putter you are using at the moment and check the length of putter itself.
Well, thats what I do when I give a putting a lesson anyway :)

Fancy coming to Ireland to give a lesson bobmac? :D

I know you're right about getting a lesson but as I've already had 2 this year I don't really want to fork out more cash on lessons, the wife tells me there are more important things to spend it on.....
