I have always putted with the toe up but I have been told that this is a fault and can lead to missing putts to the left. I have tried to hold the putter with the blade flat on the ground but it feels extremely uncomfortable and I have to contort my wrists into an unnatural position.

My question is; can you alter the lie angle on a putter?

Yes you can but I putt with the toe up slightly and not had a problem. Nor did Seve or Aoiki
