Pros chipping with a lob wedge

yep, after a recent lesson that's pretty much what I'm doing, using whatever club will give me enough roll. pro said to land it on the green as soon as possible, judging how hard to hit is the problem

I don't always get it on the green asap though. A few of our greens slope at the edge for maybe 3' before flattening out. I'll never try to land it on a slope or even within a couple of feet of one if I can help it, because get it wrong and it ruins any hope of getting the distance right.

Try practice swinging whilst looking at your landing area Steve. It's amazing how you can get a feel for the right swing just by using your imagination.
