Anyone on here used Project Server 2010, and has recommendations on good literature or online resources?

Just a little light reading you're after then?

I haven't seen much in the way of Project stuff out there - www.vtc.com does Project 2007 video tutorials, but not for 2010 or any of the server versions.

I would probably look at the Technet section for Project Server as well as the Project Blog.

Any reason for looking into the full-blown server setup for it, or would the standard desktop Project do the job?

Yes, the project I will be working on will require Server, not necessarily 2010, but that is the version our company have decided to go with.
