He's having a mare with consistency is Brooks - said himself a few weeks back that one day he feels like he's swinging it as well as ever, then the next day, that feeling has gone again. He regularly plays well for one day then slumps again. Hopefully he's playing his way through it.

I quite like Michael Kim in general, but was disappointed he holed the par putt on the last, was rooting for Ko after such a great round from a relative unknown, and was all set for a play off. Lovely looking course.

Oh, it certainly was, I just wanted more golf to be honest!

Rory’s desperate fight to complete the Grand Slam despite nearly throwing it away at least 3 times in the last round.

Tommy’s first PGATour victory, and at the biggest Tour event of them all despite so many body blows of near misses in the weeks before.

Europe contrive to turn an awesome display of dominance into a collapse and then a true nail biter but come through in the end to silence a toxic cauldron.

From a UK&I perspective…. Is this the most dramatic but ultimately satisfying season of professional golf in a long long time?
