Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

I had an opinion that Tommy wouldn’t win in America, and I am delighted to be proved wrong!
Well played Tommy. When you won , you won a big one.

Great filip for the Ryder Cup team.

I friend of mine and a few of the members at Formby Hall GC had a sizeable wager on Tommy to win a major by his 30th birthday.

Didn’t come off but there will be a party there tonight.

Massive congrats to Tommy Fleetwood - I'll have to catch up on the highlights later but it's a well deserved win for him after coming so close recently.

Great finale to the LIV season as well, the team championship came down to a 4 man play off between Casey and Bryson for The Crushers and Tyrell and Rahm for Legion XIII - who had trailed all day. Hatton got his game together down the stretch and helped claw the gap back - McKibbin and Surrat both shooting 5 under alongside Rahm - doing the spade works for the team whereas Bryson needed an 8 under to get his boys into the play off.

McKibbin of course turned down a PGAT spot to join LIV - he seems to have enjoyed it and he's made some decent money to boot.

Link to the play off, you can rewind if you want the full hour of highlights.

Without wanting to be too controversial, you can see from the crowds that LIV is finding it's US market, and talk of it fading away is now quite frankly delusional.

5 under ?

I thought it was matchplay

McKibbin has earned a lot of money - guess that balances out missing out on Ryder Cup and maybe challenging Bob Mac on the PGAT

Well the money is a guarantee, the rest nmo idea, maybe he plays poorly on the PGA and doesn't get anywhere near Ryder Cup or challenege MAc. Who knows. Nobody without an issues uses those as examples, what I might have elsewhere never comes in to it. Why would it.

That’s the balance between the choices

The guarantee money on LIV but miss out on potentially majors and Ryder Cups

Or go to the PGAT and having a better chance of playing in both providing the player performs
