Ordered (or even won) 50 TaylorMade TP Red balls on ebay a couple of days ago and they arrived today, costing me £25 + £6 postage.

I have to say that I am really impressed with these, there are little tiny scuffs on them but are (as described) in Very Good condition. Also the service that I received from Premierlakeballs was excellent, they have nearly 35,000 transactions and you can see why they have a 100% rating.

I did buy some cheap balls from Aldi for my practice rounds which were fine for long shots, but anything 100yrds in I didnt get good feel. I wanted to practice with a ball with a fairly similar feel to my match ball (i use Pro V1, Bridgestone B330s and this ball).

So in summary 50p (or 62p inc postage)for a £2.50 ball which is in damn good knick cant be bad in my book.

If they are just slightly used TP reds then its pretty good value. My only concern especially with lake balls is the inherent quality of the ball. I guess if your game has escaped you for a while then they do make economic sense but perosnally I'd prefer a new ball where the quality and performance would be the same throughout the sleeve.

My practice bag is full of Srixon Z-Urc from same company. Great quality and service and just over £20 including p&p for 40 balls.

The majority (about 43/44) have a little scratch mark on them and are in very good knick, imagine hitting a brand new ball for 3 or 4 holes. The remainder have a little water discolouration.

My game at the moment is seeing me lose 2/3 balls (on average) per round, and it is always with the driver off the tee, so these are ideal. When I am practicing and no-one is behind me I will hit 2/3 balls from the tee to practice.

Peter, I've been using reclaimed balls for years, I always go for pearl or grade A and find them absolutely fine for me. My last purchase was 300 titliest pts so-lo for £90 inc delivery, works out at 30p per ball and their good balls, maybe a pen mark or logo on them, but no scuffs.

A little tip is to but them in the winter, you tend to get a better deal.

The performance is great, I would even go as far as saying I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those and a new ball of the same make.
