Premiere at Saunton West today

today was the first round, of hopefully many rounds at Saunton. Weather was faboulous and we made some pars in the beginning and in the end. Didnt get out off two bunkers in the middle section, wind was not strong and no stress on the course.. This is really quality of life,,, tomorrow we will try out the East course... Now its time to make some Tacos and then visit some Pubs in Braunton...

East is the better course, and harder (IMO) Some lovely par 3's on the West, but the East is a stunner. The first hole is as a tough an opening hole as I have played, and always seems into the wind.

East was in good condition and Saunton is very well mainteniced , weather with some breeze during the round,,made some pairs and bunkerplay was improved today..now time to look up a pub with sky to see cfc veprsus sunderland.
