Beggsy
Thanks beggsy, but tell me, do you hate Man Utd just because you're a Leeds Utd supporter and hatred is part of the deal, or do you hate Man Utd for any justifiable & rational reason?
Just wondering .

P.S. I'm not holding my breath.

Must just be a hate thing with them then!!
I used to love working at Elland road when I worked for an agency in Leeds.
Watched Leeds beat Manure, Beat Arsenal and lose to Liverpool. Great memories at a great club with brilliant supporters.

I don't have to justify my self to anyone but it's how it is in Leeds if your Leeds you here man u as others have said happens in every tier of football league

Because you can't.....................obviously.
I support Man Utd but I don't hate other teams/players/fans. I do pity some though.

But do you live in the area that your team are in? The hatred between Manchester and Leeds is a historical thing due to the war conflict between Yorkshire and Lancashire that goes on. Plenty of teams all over the world have a hatred of each other for a reason, but if you do not live inthat areat hen how can you an understanding of it. Oh yeah and by the way this is not a dog at you for being a Man United fan from London.....;)

Is it the old Lancashire/Yorkshire thing? Do Leeds fans hate city to the same level and as much for the same reason? I would doubt it. I think this is just football related. I dont know if mancs feel they are part of Lancashire anymore, I know we don't. I haven't lived/worked in Leeds, but I would think that this is just a footy rivalry, and not history based.

I don't think any football fans should call each other scum.

Distasteful and pathetic. As are the 1958 based chants. Even animals behave better than that. Just grow up?

Munich/Hillsborough/Heysel/Ibrox/Bradford/"murderers" chants are sick, as are anyone using the disasters to "profit" from using them, for whatever bent reasons that they can find. Banter/stick - great stuff, but there is a line. Sadly too many footy fans go past this.

Well said DAVE M.................. Isnt hate a vicious word when used in this context .. i know we say we hate different things like films , foods , smells etc but thats a throw away statement .. but there seems to be a conviction in the hate been mentioned here ..

Jeez if people HATED others because they are supose to hate them, or because thats the way it has always been , how sad is the world? where has the treat people individualy gone .. i personaly think if you hate someone for a reason as trivial as what team they support or where they are from is realy realy pathetic been honest ..

I just can't get my head around the idea of hating a person or people I've never met/known/heard of.

These are the type of people. The third Reich was made of. also the league of St George, National front etc recruits most of its followers from this mindless minority.

I thank god it is only a minority and the majority of decent sane people see though the rhetoric.

Well done city.

Ferguson let's an 8pt lead slip and the media keep schtum, but if that was wenger or mancini the knives would be out along either the agenda of calling for them to be sacked......

That piece of "journalism" has more holes than a block of swiss cheese. Firstly, it's written by a "freelance journalist" (I use that term loosely) who couldn't-quite-make-it-as-a-ref and secondly, I note that it doesn't mention the ridiculous amounts of extra time United seem to gain from absolutely nowhere where they've come back to win/draw games in the dying seconds.

I'm sure you posted it with your tongue firmly in cheek (at least, I hope you did), but any United fan who thinks they were robbed of the title through poor refereeing decisions is clearly delusional. Howard Webb's "decision making" in certain games (the game against Newcastle at St. James' Park springs immediately to mind) is absolutely laughable. And even if it was the case, they've won a fair few titles thanks to poor refereeing anyway, so it all evens itself out in the end! :D

United failed to win the title because, over the course of the season, Man City were better. It pains me to admit this, but it's a fact....................end of.

And no it doesn't.
