It will be a clone of a Motocaddy - at least the Sport Bug is an S1 in disguise, same electronics, different, and heavier, frame and controller. Compact it's not.
Some common parts are cheaper through Powercaddy, others through Motocaddy - go figure. Motocaddy accessories should also fit.
Service centre is in Reading - no pick up though so you pay postage both ways.

GoKarts cost £229 with free extras - would suggest it knocks spots off the Powerbug! Plus their customer service is brilliant.

AW, Got mine from AG on Monday and have used it twice so far and have no complaints. AG knocked £20 of the Powerbug cartbag (i needed a bag as i have always carried) and also another 50% (£22.50) off the umbrella holder and zip up bag for the cart. It's easy to set up and collapse down as well. I checked all the reviews and posted on here, and no one seems to say a bad word about them. As posted earlier, the sales guy also said that they have the same componentry as Motocaddy.

I got mine in store..I just asked if he would do me a deal if i got all 3 items. He said he couldnt discount the trolley as they were selling really fast and were already heavily discounted, but he would do me a deal on the cart bag and umberalla holder and zip up bag (these 2 items came in the same box and were marked at up at £45).
Fair do's to AG, the service was top notch. They even helped me carry it all to my car.

I got mine an hour ago. Either boxed and ready (£199) or an un-boxed one which has been "tested" around the store by a few punters (including me) for £175. No contest. I even asked if the chap cared which one I took, which he didn't.
Now....is there anything I need to know?
Like, does it "brake" itself downhill, or should I hold on for dear life? Should I give it the full monty overnight charge if I play 9 now for 18 tomorrow?

Sounds like you guys had a deal. It'll be interesting to see if anyone has any problems within the first 6 months or so. I don't know a great deal about them but I know there are a few that have had teething issues with motocaddy, powacaddy and yes even GK

It shouldn't auto-brake on a hill, as they need to be able to be pushed if the battery dies on you mid-round.
If it has preset distances to trundle away for if you want to send it to the next tee, don't trust them until you've tried them somewhere safe. My 10, 20, 30 is more like 15, 30, and 45.
Also make sure it runs in a straight line on its own before you use the preset distances. If the bag is slightly heavier on one side it will steer that way.

No "preset trundle" feature. Just 7 speeds. I'm mostly using it on 4-6. 7 is running speed!
Goes very straight. Manages the steepest hills at mine.
Good for eating/drinking as you go along. So far, I'm enjoying.
I am worried about parking it around the greens though, I guess sideways (to the hill) is the answer to stop it running away.

I was going to say that, never set it on a speed that you can't catch it.
parking is always fun, you now have to think about which side you're parking at the green, sideslopes aren't always the answer (they will topple) but a long tee behind the wheel can help with downhill parking (in lieu of the, optional, anchor).
