Interesting, the latch on my battery got smashed by a rogue golf ball a few weeks back, it still works but doesn’t lock in place. I doubt they would replace it for that kind of fault

The gray latch on the battery is easily replaced. Not sure if they sell that piece but even one from an old battery will work. I would inquire at the repair centre.

Really I wonder why in the UK you get the 5 year but not there, I would imagine the 5 year on the battery is company policy and world wide

I contacted Powakaddy UK and they said the same thing, 2 years only. The distributer down here is also the retailer. It was purchased in 2022.

Yeah it looks like if you open up the battery a new latch will just fit back in, good shout

Hello from Belgium ;-)
I had exactly the same problem, no reaction while pressing the start stop... so I used to turn the button wheel to zero to stop it... ok
but also while walking, from time to time it stops... not funny

but worse now, yesterday, after small practice, I see my battery very low; I disconnect and reconnect it, full again... but while pressing start, went green less that a second and back to red, whatever the speed selected... I put it back to my car... impossible to use it anymore

Does anyone solved his problem?
