I have a Powakaddy FW7s with the 18 hole battery. I played in torrential rain yesterday, upon getting home I’ve noticed the battery is leaking water. I’m assuming it shouldn’t do that. Has anyone got any advice on what to do, ie before charging etc?

A golf battery should not let in water. If it has had water ingress I am not sure I would want to connect it to the mains to charge it up again. Is it under warranty? If not, then I would also recommend replacing it.

The batteries are sealed and should not be taking in water. Give it a good inspection and for a crack in the casing or seal and no I would not charge it when wet.

Check the drain holes on your trolley as well if there blocked it will submerge the battery.

But the battery housing sounds compromised to allow water in.
