Powakaddy battery connection problem

Morning All, I wonder if you could help..

I have a 1st generation Powakaddy freeway, and having replaced the lead acid battery to a lithium battery, over time, I have noticed that the connection to the battery has become 'looser', to the extent that I need to fit a washer between the battery and the T bar connector to take up the 'slack'.

I have heard rumours that there is an adaptor to address this issue and was wondering if anyone had any further information on this ?

Thanks, but the part I require doesn't seem to be supplied. but for information I have designed and produced an adaptor, see photograph.
