When you copy a post ID to post the link in another post, the preview it gives you is the wrong post. But when you click on it, it does go to the right post that you intended to link to.
Example here, I've copy the ID to one of my posts in the Bought Today thread:
But the preview shows a post by Beezerk that was 8 posts higher up the page. In fact I think the preview is showing the top post from the page that you've linked to.
