I'm looking to get a new club at the 19 degree mark.

Is it better to get a Fairway wood at 17,18,19 degrees or a 17,18,19 Hybrid club.

Most likely getting the Titleist 913.

Just wondering whats best?

thanks.

Which do you prefer/hit better woods or hybrids? what gap are you trying to fill?

Personal preference is for a hybrid but will be as many saying the same for 5 wood, it really does depend on what suits you best. Personally would go and try both, see which you get on best with and see which fit your gap the best (i assume between 3 wood and 4 iron?)

Hi thanks for the reply.

Currently I've got a 22 degree RBZ S2, and my 4 iron is the same, so looking to get rid of the 4 iron and get a club to fill the gap between 22 degree hybrid and 15 degree 3 wood.

It also depends, to an extent, on your swing speed.
You need a fairly chunky swing speed to get enough spin on the ball with a lower lofted hybrid - generally.
A slower speed and you'll probably benefit from the wood more...

Hi, I tried out the Titleist 913 5 wood & 3 hybrid both 19*, went with 3H as I had better control with the flight.
