Popped my cherry

Hi all, just thought I would share my small joy in breaking 80 on Sunday.

I played on The Montgomerie course and after many ups and downs since joining the club I finally hit a 79 net 66 playing off the white tees. The course is a par 69 with a sss of 71 off the whites. Unfortunately it was only a friendly game and not a comp.

On Wednesday I will be watching some of the Pro-Am and the first round of the Wales Open Thursday, then playing again on Friday afternoon in a pairs second round and then my second round singles next Tuesday, hopefully with fingers crossed I can keep some form.

Well done fella! Excellent shooting.

I'll be making the same post myself shortly I hope, i shot 89 today which included 7 shots to get out of 1 bunker( ) and 2 lost balls!!

It just seems that every round there is 1 or 2 card wreckers that stop me from going sub 80.
