Never had a lesson but going to change that in the new year. I want to correct a couple of minor niggles I think I have in my setup and am finding it difficult to do on my own.

I've gone for 11-15 but that's because I only started playing this year so that even includes a lesson or two on just getting the setup right. Hopefully once the weather improves I can get out onto the course more but for the winter I'm happy to keep getting lessons.

I've had a load this year - I get about an hour a month with a package deal our teaching pro runs but tend to use them in 30 min blocks. Really helped game plus I feel it enhances my enjoyment of both my golf and the club. I love having things to work on/ think about - some help, some less so, but all in all great fun.

I've been doing the above for approx two years now and come down from early 20's to 13 ish, getting tougher now, may back off to 30 min / mth going forward but we'll see!

None.

I was having some lessons with the Assistant Pro but he left to join another club and I've not looked for a replacement.
I'm sure my swing has developed one or several faults over the year as a result.

Zero.

Cost is an issue, plus my swing seems to be different every time I play so not sure what benefit I would get from it. The inclination to actually practise would be a big factor to anything changing too.

Ive had 8. I developed a massive slice at the start of the year and its taken a while to iron out the things that were causing it.

It has massively helped my game, I now feel as though I fully understand why I hit certain shots and I can self diagnose/fix myself within a few swings. I really feel as though I have the tools to get a much lower handicap in 2015

I've had 1.

For the last 3 years I've gone for a video lesson in March, just to see where I am and try and get a feel for what I need to be doing for the season ahead. I didn't play enough to judge the success or otherwise of the lesson this year but the last couple of years I feel like it had helped. I learn a lot from seeing how bad my swing is - that way I understand the changes better than if I just rely on feel.

I've had 3 this year. 2 on the range and 1 playing lesson. I didn't think taking lessons would drastically change my game but they did. I always thought I was an ok player and was happy with how I was playing but had a 30min lesson and the following week played my best ever golf so booked another lesson a couple of weeks after and just kept getting better. I'm so glad I took the lessons as for a couple of years I was almost too sacred to have one incase the pro just laughed at me, now I can't stop telling people who've never had one to go and get one you will love golf more. But I've also spoke to people who've said having a lesson ruined there golf as they couldn't get used to the changes ie: grip changes etc. you just have to stick at it. My grip got changed as I held it like a baseball bat to now an overlapping finger plus my alignment was all over the place. Once sorted the grip took about a month to get used to and my alignment was spot on. Will have some more next April.

Ive had 4.

Needed someone to take a cold look at my swing and give me some advice. Went to see Alistair Davies at FofA and he has helped me completely change my swingpath and neutralise my shot shape. Went back for a few follow ups throughout the year and expect Ill continue to do the same next year but in a far better place with my swing than I was at this time last year

ive had about 8, but from Fundys recommendation I had a lesson with Alistair Davies and just a slight posture change to do with my hip, and a little more extension on the backswing got me back on track shooting low 70s from high 70/80s. It was more bio mechanical then technical and I will certainly go back and have another session with him.

Got my first one of a block of three booked for tomorrow.
Despite looking like a horror show, I'm not looking to change anything. At my age, I'm stuck with what I have.
I would just like to concentrate on my two biggest faults, which are to do with alignment and swaying.
If he can help me sort those out, I'll be happy.
