Police vs Mopeds - Tactical Contact

Whilst the rights and wrongs of this particular tactic can be debated, I'd argue we probably should take a look at our society as a whole if we are being reduced to such measures to police our nation. Yes it may well be justified as a last resort to try and control this particular crime and it will play well to a particular part of the electorate, but I can't help thinking we are poorer as a society if we need to resort to this and we should be probably getting more angry about the lack of funding for the police.

This sort of thing always amuses me. Why should these little scrotes be protected? They know they have done wrong, that is why they are fleeing in the first place. If they get injured when the police knock them off then maybe they shouldn't have committed a crime in the first place? Time they took responsibility for their actions rather than hiding behind the 'heavy handed police' excuse.

Does she know we are talking about knocking criminals off scooters and not little Cindy and Tommy playing on there peppa pig and Spider-Man scooters.
She is the shadow home secretary, she will be more away than all of us together.

I really hate the idea of safe seat constituencies. Parties can get right idiots into parliament that way.

Looked to me like that car driver was trying to escape from the thug, who had stopped next to the car initially.
Disgusting message sent out by the system.

Message is it’s ok to carry a knife if it’s for “self defence” very dangerous. Also he has previous for robbery with a knife! 🤯

I like this no nonsense approach from the police..... I wish our force was more like the US style, except no guns.

I don't really see the issue. If a criminal is escaping on a moped or bike, then how else are they going to apprehend them other than knocking them off it?? Lasso perhaps?

Agree that Dianne Abbott is an idiot. In her defence though, there have been 93 billion people knocked off their bikes today alone. :p

Maybe the reason we are having to resort to these sorts of measures is because as a society we have spent too long 'looking' at the problem and not doing anything about it? After all, the murderers and rapists rights are more important than the victims!!
