Do you use plus 2 or plus 4 trousers when you play or is it todays "modern" trousers you always use. If you use them, are they comfortable to play in,, is there any advantages or disadvantages to mention about such trousers.

where do you buy them?

I don't wear them but at this time of year they are very practical. They stop you getting muddy trousers and they are usually made of quite a heavy material so tend to be quite warm. You should be able to find them online.

The old boys that still rock the plus fours look really good - not quite reached that stage yet where I think I could carry it off.

Royal and Awesome do loads if you want something a bit "special" ;)

They look quality, sets you apart, so go for it. They are certainly not limited to old men, they are VERY modern for a discerning young gentleman ;-)

We all wear them during a charity golf comp including flat cap etc.

Bit of class about them and good old golf fashioned style

Plus fours should give a four inch fold below the knee and are generally worn by deerstalkers etc. These are normally made from heavy tweed. Plus twos give a two inch fold below the knee and are the type normally worn by golfers and usually confused with plus fours.

Top man!

I used to wear plus twos, as my old course was a swamp. Now I play at a course which drains, there's no point.

The key thing is, If you need to get out of your car on the way to the course, don't wear stupid trousers.
