Plodding on....... When really you want to walk off.

Anyway, I'm level 2's after 3 and step onto the par 5 4th. Not a very long hole and straight as an arrow but all uphill. Catch my drive a little "thin" but it still gets out there, just a shade over 200 yards up the middle. Got about 260 or so to the front of the green and think I'll knock my 5 wood up there. I know I'm not going to get on as it's all uphill but thought I'd just leave myself a nice easy flick with a wedge. And then the crap started. Massive great block right. Bloody hell, where did that come from? Completely missed the fairway and ended up down by the 5th tee. Luckily I had a good lie but had to flick the ball up quite quickly over some long grass onto the green. Still the chance to make a par, possibly a bogey. I hit what I thought was the ideal shot but when I got up there I had over estimated how much I had to the green and had flown over the back and was sitting in the semi. Bugger! Chipped on but was now struggling as I had left myself a really long putt for par. Left my first effort about 4 feet short and missed the putt for a 6 so walked off with a 7 for nothing.
Really pee'd off with myself because I had been in the middle of the fairway off the tee and should have made par at least.
You still there Murph??????

I agree with big slice, we know your golf was shocking, tell us more about that 66 year old that come on to drive that mini , rumour is she had her own teeth

Oddsocks........chill mate. I used to be the same and things just went further downhill. It's not life or death. Even a handicap of 21 is no disaster.

I'm back. Don't stop now, it's just getting interesting. At your age it's a miracle you can remember this far.

We need a photo of the crumpet though.
