seeing as I was out playing the Midweek Rollup Stableford with CVG and as a 2 - ball we were on course for just over 4 hours!! Although it seemed a lot longer......

2x4-balls in front of us and we waited on almost every shot.

Fianlly got let through by one group on the 16th as one of them had lost a ball - but they'd had plenty of other opportunitites to do so. Several times we walked up to a tee as they were walking off.
Peasents......

Still - with a bit of luck my main target for the year will be reached. Shot a 77 nett 67 for 39 points. If CSS goes up by a shot I get the .6 cut I need to get back to single figures.

I don't know what the problem was. It clearly didn't put you off your stride too much. It is a pain though when slower groups clearly know you are there and refuse to even acknowledge your existance. Mind you if you got through one fourball there was no guarantee you'd get through the next either. It would have been more painful waiting for the group in front and then having the four behind catch you up again and putting pressure on.

In fact, for the most part, it was quite pleasent - chatting, banter, thinking about changing clubs (again). It wasn't cold or raining - but when they started marking cards on the green we got a bit narked!
