The UK weather has at last warmed up. Only last week I was still playing in thermal underwear! Anyway, I was impressed with how much further I can hit the ball in the drier, warmer conditions. Yesterday I went over the back of a 400 yard par 4 with a driver and a 9 iron, when I had been struggling to reach it with a driver and a 3 hybrid in the colder weather. The differences are that warmer air is less dense, the golf ball becomes more lively, and you get more run on dry fairways. I can almost hit forum distances now!
