The UK weather has at last warmed up. Only last week I was still playing in thermal underwear! Anyway, I was impressed with how much further I can hit the ball in the drier, warmer conditions. Yesterday I went over the back of a 400 yard par 4 with a driver and a 9 iron, when I had been struggling to reach it with a driver and a 3 hybrid in the colder weather. The differences are that warmer air is less dense, the golf ball becomes more lively, and you get more run on dry fairways. I can almost hit forum distances now! :)

I'm still planning on a baselayer for today... I don't trust this weather yet, could easily turn again. But i'm in Scotland, so it is to be expected.

I'm tempted to break the white trousers out for the 1st time this year for tomorrows knock out match

Must be great to live like you Delc, seeing everyday as something new ... ok, sometimes you will repeat the same thing again and again and it will seem like something new but what a great way to live your life :)

..... just waiting for the rain and frost now.
