Yourgolftravel will probably be best place for a package deal, and don't forget to tell them Darren sent yer!

My fave place to play is on the Costa Del Sol in Spain. Some of the best courses in the world IMHO (for the everyday man). Good deals can be had online to include accommodation as well. Cheap and easy to get to. Went there once for £1 on EasyJet!

What time of year and any maximum flight time?

OK. If you want good weather, then between late October and March, you need to look at Dubai, Florida, or somewhere exotic like Asia or Mauritius. All of those would blow your budget, I reckon. Turkey, possibly at the edge of that period.

Spring or Autumn, Algarve or Costa del Sol. I like the Algarve, which has a lot of great courses and good hotels and beaches. You could also consider the Lisbon area, although the weather is generally not quite so good there, so maybe that would be better for summer. There is a group of courses in the area just south of Lisbon, with Troia, Areoeira and others, and a few north of Lisob, such as Penha de Longa and further north Paria del Rey and Bom Successo.

Of course, in mid summer, you could stick around the British Isles or go to northern Europe by ferry/Eurotunnel. Some very good golf in Normandy and across the north of France, and more in Belgium and Holland, including some good links.

The lower half of your budget (£0) will exclude most places.
The upper part of your budget (£650.00) will bring a few destination within your grasp.
But depending on the time of year you want to go, how "inclusive" you want it and how much golf you want to play, I think you might have to stretch your budget a little more.
Me? I'd be heading for Turkey.
But I'd be looking at spending about £1k minimum at the height of the season, maybe £850.00 or so at the beginning/end.
We used to go to the Algarve and "do it ourselves" renting a villa between six of us and I booked the golf up separately to keep costs down. Even then (about 10-12 years ago) a week cost us about £500.00 taking flights, villa rental, green fee's etc. into account.
Add your food and drinks spend on top of that and that would have blown your current budget.
Height of the season, £650.00 is likely to get you a long week-end somewhere hot, with about 4 round of golf lobbed in.

I would recoomend Belek in Turkey, great 4/5 star hotels, all of them all inclusive with great choice of food in most hotels plus all the drink you can manage. Short trasnsfers from the airport, lots and lots of top courses all within 5 mins transfer which is included in most deals you can book.
Golfbreaks.com and Yourgolf travel will be your best bet.

Agree with the above.
We stayed at the Voyage Hotel and it was absolutely fantastic.
I've stayed in "all inclusive" hotels before which have been crap.
This one was the mutts nuts.
All spirits were "branded" (rather than local cheap copies) and the food choice was out of this world.
5 different restaurants within the hotel complex, you could have Chinese one night, a steak the next, Turkish another night and Indian later in the week if you wanted, or just eat in the main restaurant if you preferred.
The choice of food, both at breakfast and evening meal, was absolutely first class.
Fancy a nice hot pizza on your way home from the bar at 3am??? Not a problem!
If you emptied your rooms mini-bar, (which we did on quite a few occasions), it was magically filled the next morning.
Free bottles of water (as many as you wanted) to take to golf with you....these are the type of "extras" that all add up if you are having to pay for them.
The golf courses we played knocked others that I have played on the Algarve and Spain into a cocked hat.
Superbly manicured, tough, and all in exceptional condition.
The people we met out there were all much friendlier too. I have been disgusted in the past with some of the attitudes displayed by staff at golf courses on the Algarve. They have been the number one destination for years and still think they are doing you a favour by allowing you on their courses. But other countries are catching up, and are much more welcoming.
Try Turkey. You will love it.

Cannot support this enough. Haven't done a boys trip to Belek but we are booked in 2015 for our 4th family visit in 5 years. The hotel is so good HID lets me play as much golf as possible. Or maybe that's just so she can get some peace.....

Turkey no doubt about it. Going in feb and can't wait. Just as explained above. Anything you want and need is all inclusive. You don't need to spend a penny more unless u want a buggy.
