They had some opens advertised earlier in the year for £70 iirc, was tempted but I can't get my regular pp outside Tyne and Wear never mind up to Scotland.

Only had 2 courses, when we played there in 1982 , The Glen Devon, and The Kings, owned by British Rail then, great value for 2 rounds of golf £14.00 .
But it cost £5.50 for a bacon roll in the Dormie house .

I played the Queens a couple weeks back with a couple of chappers, course was great, company was hellish.

The cost for the golf has increased quite a bit now but the bacon rolls have got cheaper:whoo:

I should've said that was the 2 we played , Clive, what's the names of the newer courses they built, after they done away with the Glen Devon ?
