I assume most have read about the unfortunate end to the match Oddox was in.
Just a question that may have come up, what would you think and do.

You hit a lovely drive up the 17th as O/Sox did but from the wrong place. The opposition asks you to play again and you hit another beauty side by side with the first ball.
When the opposition asks which ball is your second ball, you cant remember which number is which.
What would happen then?

I'd would expect the previously hit balls to have been picked up before heading back to the teeing ground, so having picked them up then sure use one to continue the hole, but the ball is not and never has been a provisional, due to picking them up.
