Ping Redwood vs Scotty Cameron

I just dont see what all the fuss is about with Scotty Cameron putters.A few of my mates have Scotty's and i've tried them out but fail to see the attraction.

I've been on a search for a putter myself recently and finally settled on a Ping Piper(Karsten i series).I loved the look of the Redwood version of the Piper but it was quite a bit more expensive(We're in a recession you know! )

For me though Ping wins hands down over Scotty's but like vig says it is a very personal decision.

I've owned a couple of Scottys and my Redwood Anser is the third Ping I've had. The disappointingly dull answer is that they're all good, but the best one is just the one that suits you.

Mrs just got me a Scotty for my bda after wanting one for a while, I have an Odyessey NO 7 that performs really well for me, but there is just something special about the SC.
