Why? The putter length adjusts so the fitter can set it to the perfect height for you so Ping just make one stick and then if you sell it on the next person can have it adjusted for their height...

Really, its only slightly larger than the end of the grip, is the same colour as the shaft, and why would you be looking at the grip rather the ball when putting?
Can't comment on the feeling but the view of the nut really shouldn't be an obstruction to you viewing.

That explains a lot.
Where he said "nut thing" I just thought he couldn't spell "nothing" properly - it really didn't make much sense to me and my lack of knowledge of all the new clubs.
