Ping k15 Driver

Ultra forgiving and goes like a rocket. The looks are pretty ugly but hey, if it works then use it happily. I wouldn't imagine it'll offer a huge upgrade to your G15. What are you thinking?

If you slice your G15 you will slice the K15 but not as bad. It really does straighten out drives and is long for such a forgiving club. It sets up fairly square and uses weights to square the face rather than closing the face by 2 degrees like draw drivers. It launches very high though so if you have a high flight already it might not be for you. I had the standard tfc shaft pulled and had a Diamana Blueboard installed and it was a beast. Sold it stupidly because I always wanted a 910. Found the 910 to be 15 yards shorter than the K15 so went back to Ping with a G20 and Im happy again.

I'm not getting on with G15 at all ive been trying different things with it but keep getting really bad slice!! I was hitting 9 out of 10 shots straight with the K15

Probably the best club in the world
I hit mine absolutely miles

Ping were fitting me for the G20 but advised i'd be better off with this - they were spot on,
it is an absolutely fantastic club

But GET THE RIGHT SHAFT for you !!!!!

Can you demo it out on the course? Just to make sure it behaves when it matters.

Also as has been said, get fitted properly for the correct shaft, it makes all the difference.

The club I'm thinking of has the regular ping shaft!! What's the best way of finding outs the best shaft!! Does a different shaft make that much more difference

Yes the right shaft really does matter. Not as much as our American cousins believe but it does make a massive difference. The standard TFC shaft isnt that bad but I did find it very whippy and felt you had to swing very smooth to get the best out of it. Im not sure if the Aldila Serrano was a standard option on the K15.

I had one and loved it.... Great idea to get rid of the stock shaft though. I bought an adila nvs and got my pro to fit it....

My G15 was average until I was custom fitted for the shaft.

Rather than buy a K15 I would suggest you sink the money into a couple of driving lessons and a shaft fitting when you get something repeatable, even if the repeatable is a "strong" fade.

Bought the K15 driver last night 10.5 with regular shaft! Headed straight to the driving range and must say I'm very pleased with the straight shots I'm getting with it!! Distance wise I might be just getting 200 yards but that's with range balls !! Although I was never a long hitter so maybe just my swing!! Looking forward to getting on the course tomorrow to see how I get on with proper balls!! So please let the course be open!! I hate all this rain!!!!
