Just seen some pics of the G700's and they do NOT look like GMAX replacements to me.

Anyone know why they have leapt from G400 to G700? Should there not be a 500 and 600 in between? There is usually some logic in numbering, a sequence of some sort.
I have always felt that they should have brought out a 'G spot' series.

It's a macho thing. Nobody wants to admit they use a 7 iron for a 130 yard shot.Why not have a full set with regular lofts and just hit a lower number.

Thanks for that, but a genuine question, what is wrong with hitting the ball high? I hit my irons incredibly high, and pretty long. Though is an issue in high winds, I find it quite an advantage. My irons stop pretty sharpish. Because I don't get any roll my distance is almost all carry so hitting over bunkers or water hazards is no issue
