Ping G5 10.5 vs Nike str8 11.5

Played today using my newly purchased £15 Ping G5 driver 10.5
A mate brought along a Nike Str8 11.5 .

Having not used a driver in anger for 2 years approx I drove very well.
The G5 produce a very low flat ball flight and gave a little rollout.
The Nike a very high rainbow type of flight with no roll.
The winner by a street was the Nike.
It was me using both by the way.
I was blown away by the Nike even though I don't like the square heads.
To be honest im sure the Nike would be no good with the wind in your face
because it climbs so high.
Now I just need him to give it up.

I had the machspeed black until it broke and nike replaced it with it the vrs in 11.5. It doesn't balloon like the machspeed but is a high ball flight. I've tried a few drivers this year but I'm loathed to change it as I'm confident with it.

This, should never have sold mine. Been searching for a driver as consistent since, unsuccessfully!
