I currently use the G30 Driver in 10.5° and hit the ball well. Average carry being in the region of 245yards.

I am debating whether to try and lower the degree to 9.9° for the summer to try and get more run on the ball. Will changing the loft affect draw/fade bias of the club.

I have heard if you drop the loft on the club it make it more prone to a fade.....

If anyone out there could clarify this that would be excellent.

Love this driver by the way its amazing.

my take for whta it's worth would stick with what you got and focus on learning to strike from center - off center strikes are way more damaging both to ball speed so distance and run out if the ground is firm it will roll anyways

with that a good launch angle is essential to distance (clubhead speed has to be up some to get the best out of lower loft)

less loft can also have dramatic effect on accuracy and dispersion both left and right a big player into second shot from a fairway lie ... or not
