Ping g15/g20

Ive got G20 irons and i swear to god my dog could hit them. Your iron play will definatley improve if your a high handicapper imo.

G20 break the ball flight laws!! My mate has a set, he hits the ball with all his weight in his front foot, swing path all over the shop, no rotation.... the ball goes off and you can see it fighting the poor strike that has been put in it and somehow it goes in the right direction.....

That are hideous but clearly there is some witchcraft going on!!

another one with a mate with G20's. he really rates them and hits them very well! they seem very forgiving as he is pretty accurate with his irons for a 22 hcap! he just cant drive or putt for toffee! LOL

They definitely seem to have magic dust put on them when they cast them!! I've never hit clubs so far or straight. Currently saving away for some G15's, my pro will do me £360 4-SW in whatever spec i want. He even started to tempt me by saying he'll get them in now and just pay him in a couple of months. Just need to make sure I've got next years fees saved away for January then I'm all over them!!

Thanks for all replies.looks like a trip to American Golf to try G15 and G20.

Just got my coach to try and book me a slot at Gainsborough for a fitting, they don't stock the g15's for fitting anymore which is a bit odd as they still sell them, I k ow the g20 have taken over but still.

I have all new G15's (Except putter) which arrived last week. My local shop ordered them from the factory in my specs so it is still possible.

Ive hardly heard a bad review about Ping Irons from anyone who has hit them except me. Had some G10's and they just felt dead off the face to me for some reason. I am however an exception to the majority.

I use the G20's and they are everything I hate about a golf club. They are cast, they have a massive cavity, really thick top line, enormous sole and lots of off set. They are however the easiest clubs I have ever used and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They truly were made by Beelzebub himself in the casting rooms of Mount Doom.

I tried some G15 irons and whilst I liked them (very much) I didn't go for them in the end.

They are insanely good clubs; the problem I had was the short clubs went stupid distances and yet the 4 and 5 irons were spot on my normal X-18s.

Would I rather have a set that went from 100-175 yards, or a set that went from 125-175 yards?

Basically, there are superb.
