I have been out of golf for over 3 years and looking to get back into it,
I need to purchase a completely new setup and was looking at a set of secondhand G400 irons 5 to SW, I am right in thinking, I could purchase a single iron from Ping (UW) to fill the gap between PW and SW with the same specification shafts, serial number , Thanks

I have done that recently with an I230 3 iron. The pro i ordered it through asked for the serial number when he phoned Ping up.
Not sure if you would be able to for irons from different sets as theres a chance that there is a UW out there with that serial number on it already and obviously it needs to be unique.
