Picked up my new shiney's today

Well, hard to judge my new shineys after just 9 holes, didn't hit 3 of em!

I do seem to be hitting more left now than I think I am, not sure whether this is due to the extra length I'm not used to after being fitted or simple bad alignment (rarely did this with my old Clubs). Scored a 40 (+8), getting 3 pars on 3 of the 4 par fours, two of them being SI 1 & 5 so satisfaction there. Failed to par any of the short holes which was disappointing.

Really enjoyed hitting my Mizuno CLK hybrid, was lovely to hit on the range and got a wonderful connection with it off the tee.

The course was rammed and in front of me was a dad n lad sharing a bag which was annoying as a two ball behind was consistently catching me... a single golfer sandwich.

Tee boxes are in poor condition which didn't make for comfortable shots of the par 3’s and the greens were lush and slow but perhaps deliberate as there isn't a lot of space in and around most greens - the practise putting greens seemed to be a lot shorter and in real good nick.

For £9.50 or a £139 membership I suppose you get what you pay for. I'd play it again but would do so during the school/working day as the till in the Shop was ringing, loudly....
