There's a couple who walk their Labrador retriever passed my house every day and when the weather is cold/damp,
it wears a red jumper.
Well, it's starting to look a bit tatty (the jumper, not the dog) and I wondered if it might get a new one for it's Christmas.
Do you buy your pets Christmas presents ?

My wee girl goes mental if someone says santa doesn't come to dogs. So yes my mrs has had to buy doggie stockings with treats in to keep the peace.

Yep. We always bought a present for the last dog so this one will get one as well, unless she's a Jehovas Witness obviously. It'll probably be a Kevlar dog blanket, as she's eaten the last 2. Maybe she just doesn't like pink.

Aye, they'll get a doggy stocking. They'll also get their xmas dinner of leftover turkey and trimmings.

No sprouts this year though!! :mmm:

:D Our dalmatian is quite possibly the fartiest dog in the world so definitely no sprouts for her!

My dogs will get the same thing Christmas day, that they get every other day of the year,an hour and a half running behind me in fields near my house, and a bowl of green tripe, with a handfull of Arden Grange mixed in about ten in the evening.
Dog's are dogs, they are not human, and they live longer healthier and happier lives being treated like dogs.

NO Xmas jumpers for my dogs Bob
But they do get their little Xmas treats on Xmas day morning
And Turkey + Gravy added to their 'normal' meal on Xmas day tea time

But I have seen a Local PUG with a Hoodie type jumper.................a Chav Pug perhaps..........

yes this year we bought a smart toy that you hide treats in and your dog has to work out how to get access to them , sadly our dog was too dumb to work it out but we still love her. so the smart toy is going to the smart bitch across the road

Hi, and welcome to the forum :D

I buy my cat a few edible treats, but not necessarily at Christmas as I don't think he believes in it

Have you got any pets Bob?

My giant rabbits will not be eaten for Christmas dinner, the best present they could get. The cat will get naff all, we dont get on. And we lost our boxer 3 months ago, loved giving him half a beer and a some butchers sausages at Christmas, he definitely knew. Not allowed another dog until the wee man has grown up a bit. House is empty without the dog

Got 2 westies and yes they will be spoilt rotten as per usual!

My avatar picture is a photo of my cat (the real murph!) getting his Christmas treat a few years ago.

Sadly it is looking like he won't make Christmas this year.

Oh Murph hope the cat is ok...

Max gets a present or two and he LOVES ripping them open with little regard for what is actually in them. The proverbial wrapping and box being more interesting! He then tries to help us open ours and it's the same on our birthdays so we usually give him the envelopes from cards to tear to shreds in absolute joy.
