PC Help please?

Today I downloaded the 2012 AVG update but now it is using AVG secure search instead of Google as my search engine presumably by default somehow??

How do I get it back to google being my search engine when I type into the web address bar along the top? I use Google Chrome by the way in case that has any relevance??!!

Click on the spanner, go into options and under the basics tab, make sure your homepage is set to google. AVG does ask you if you want to set the avg page, one of those checkboxes that are usually missed on installation. Easy fix though.

Seems ok to me and I am streaming the Humana golf comp too, good to see the occasional Am hitting a shot.

It was dire for about an hour last night then back to normal.All other sites were clocking along fine for me bar this one.
