I see he has started 2015 with a win. I know he took ferocious stick for his "top 5" moment last year but I actually liked how he was in the Ryder Cup. A few more like him and we would have been in real bother. Forget all this "Pod" and "buying into the process" bullshine, get out there, get amongst it and get them beaten seems to be his attitude. When it is "squeeky bum time" he seems to be able to perform, does a Major loom in the near future?????

Yes, he definitely has majors in him. Very cocky and arrogant but they say that sportsmen need to be like that if they are going to be world beaters. If he was a Brit or European we would love him.

You say that, but Poulter really divides opinion and he is like that. I love Poulter though

Was the beneficiary of Walker blowing it a bit last night but fair play to him for winning despite not putting well all week (until the 73rd hole). Im a big fan and think he'll go on to win bigger things but needs to improve with the flatstick on this weekend.

Far more importantly though, he needs to do something about his cap tan - probably the worst out there for a non bald guy!!!!

Not a huge fan of his, but have to admit that he is a hell of a player with a lot of heart.

Not to veer off topic too much, but Jason Days round last night was something special (-11 for those who didnt see it).

Wouldn't be surprised to see him live up to that "top 5" comment sooner rather than later!

Indeed! Self-confidence bordering on arrogance in't necessarily a bad thing for a sportsman. His 'Top 5' comment simply showed that he was a bit naive when dealing with the Press.

Walker blew it by reacting badly to hit a bad shot, though the timing of Reed's Eagle didn't help! Some of the situations those guys get into, i's a wonder they can actually swing a club and make contact! And the final round is not a good time for White Trou! Got to love Adrenalin!

He's the sort of player you can't help but pay attention to!

Thought he was a bit obnoxious but have warmed to him somewhat, saw him at the World Matchplay and he looked like he was enjoying himself plenty. Always like to see players look like they are having a good time on the course.

I agree completely

Shusshing the crowd at the Ryder Cup was one of my sporting highlights of 2014

I had a brief conversation at the World Matchplay practice day with him and I have to say that he was a well spoken perfect gentleman

I think him shushing the crowd at the Ryder Cup perfectly sums him up, great player with a lot of heart and passion. Big fan of his and I'm almost certain that he can win a few majors sooner rather than later

Definitely a marmite player. I, personally, think he's great for the game!

Very much this.

No doubting he's very talented and he seems to have the passion and the desire to really get the most out of himself. The only slight caveat to that is I don't think anyone can know, not even pros, what will happen to them if they are coming down the final stretch in the lead of a major.

He certainly has the game to win a major, but there are lots of players that do and don't end up achieving it.

Good for the game to have someone that is worth talking about, whether you like him or otherwise.
