Not a fan myself but I think it’s the way things are going and a lot of the young, tournament goers now lap this sort of stuff up. Especially in the US.

Keeping a lid on behaviour and all this sort of chat is never happening when alcohol is involved

Certainly not for Majors or every tournament, but I’m not against it for some tournaments.
It brings a bit of fun in my opinion in what is a pretty serious game most of the time.
I’d visit for a while then move on to another hole.

Just lucky the tournament was last week and not this - imagine Mariah Carey or Slade blaring away when playing your shot.

Mind you get a hole in one and having "IT'S CHRISTMAS" on just afterwards might be fitting.

If it's just a one of tournament and it keeps all the "only here for the beer" in one area away from me then crack on, but its not my cup of warm weak beer if im honest

Watching a lot of it I get the feeling that the holes are enjoyed by a lot of players as long as the fans are quiet when they hit their shots.

I generally find the food and drink to be pretty good whenever I've attended an event - had some cracking Fish and Chips up at Troon t'other year. Cost my about fotty quid for 2 portions like, but they were luvverly...

seems to be the view of people that never actually attend sporting events.
Just sit in their armchair moaning on social media about others enjoying themselves
