Parkrun

Are you not in this list? https://www.parkrun.org.uk/results/mostevents/ Surely we all aspire to be on it ;-)
No, I think I've done two different ones. The guy I mentioned is probably there, I can't remember his name though.

To butcher steve redgrave, if you ever find me travelling to an away parkrun for fun, just shoot me...
I consider them a necessary evil to keep me alive and able to eat and drink what i like.
Yeah, not interested in that really. I am lucky enough to have one close enough that I can walk to it, if that wasn't the case I might never have done it at all, ha.

I am on 31, but I don’t really travel for parkrun. If I can’t go local I pick a new one, but I don’t go out of my way to do a new one.
Holidays in the new forest, holiday in Edinburgh, cancellation of the local, … that’s how I got most tourist runs in.

Yeh I'm with you guys, I'm not travelling for parkrun. If I am away and there is a local one, then happy days! But Parkrun tourism or A-Z etc is not for me. I am so lucky where I live I have tons of better routes anyway! Plus 5k is only a warm up!

I learned about alphabeteers when we accidentally collected a Q. We just picked a parkrun with good parking on the way south to the beech and it was like 80% tourists and very few locals.
People travelling to Poland to collect their final letter.

Almost as bad as golfers waning to play the top 100 courses I suppose!
