Pans for induction hobs

Mine have been going in the DW and are fine.

We have Le Cruset pans and are so easy to wash by hand. I'm all for an easy life too as I get older! But I'd rather have more room in the dishwasher for smaller items and not have to faff around.
Before we had induction the wife had stainless steel pans that were over 40years old and had never been in a dishwasher!
I repeat, they are so easy to wash no matter what has been cooked in them. ?

Given that stainless steel is absolutely crap on gas (there must be a name such as poor "coefficent of heat transfer"), how do they do on induction?

Just used induction in a rental apartment. Very impressed.
