Padded thermal jackets

Looking at getting one of these. Only real caveats being that it needs to be really warm and allows a good free golf swing.

Looked at non golf branded ones but worried that the ‘cut’ of the fabric might be restrictive.

Any recommendations?

Don’t want to spend a fortune ideally.

The UE one looks a decent bet. Slightly more than I hoped to shell out.

Seen this mizzy one but worry about the smaller fit of Japanese clothing. Might be a bit bling for me also.

I use the Uniqlo down gillet. Far cheaper than golf brands, feather light, slim enough to wear between layers. Decently warm. Need to keep it dry.

There is no downside....

Good price that but I really prefer a jacket

Own two gillets already as well.

I love my Shell GG jacket, only wear a polo underneath it in freezing cold windy conditions and it’s toasty.

Have used as a second third or 4th layer depending how cold it is.

Got the same Footjoy one recently, shop around I found prices from £90 up to £150 for the same jacket - paid £90 delivered.

I love OJ gear. So much so that I have maybe 10 garments at the moment. Need to give other makes a chance as I look like I have a sponsorship currently. Ha

i bought this from Clarkes and ive worn it with base layer in some cold conditions and felt very comfortable in it and not felt restricted in it at all.
