I don't understand the dead horse one on so many levels. Firstly, if you're flogging a dead horse you're not really harming any animals, it's already dead. Secondly, by changing it to 'fed' are they trying to suggest that horses should never die? Ever??

If they want to influence us, rather than home in on what they believe to be obvious references to animal cruelty, they need to think more laterally.
